Ooredoo Gives Home Broadband Customers More than DoubleInternet Speeds UpgradeFree of Charge

Mobilk - Ooredoo is upgrading all customers subscribed to the Superfast Fibre Home Broadband 20, 50, and 100 Mbps plans to higher internet speeds for the same monthly fee. Supercharging the uninterrupted connectivity provided by its fibre bundles, the company’s new promotion will automatically enrich the existing customers for the next 3 months with 2.5 times faster internet speed, allowing for rapid downloads, snaps and uploads. New customers who join Ooredoo within 45 days will also be automatically upgraded to the next plan speed. 

The Superfast Fibre plans are comprehensive, all-inclusive plans perfect for customers wanting added value and extensive benefits when connecting to a fibre network. Plans start at a very affordable OMR 28 and allows users to enjoy internet speeds that is more than double, alongside unlimited Ooredoo fixed minutes. 

Feras Al Sheikh, Director of Consumer Sales at Ooredoo, said, “With the continued expansion of our fibre coverage in the Sultanate, it was the perfect time to provide customers with even greater value. Throughout the past year, Ooreodo has continued to expand its Superfast Fibre network coverage, with new tenancies located in Ruwi, Darsait, and Al Mabelah among many other areas added to its grid in the past several months. The company’s fibre services cover a wide-range of areas in Muscat, including Al Hail, Al Khoud, Al Mabelah, Al Manuma, Al Seeb Jadida, Hayy Al Saruj, Sur Al Hadid, Wadi Al Luwami, Ras Al Hamra, the Tilal Complex, Al Ghubra Al Janubiyaa, Al Ghubra Al Shamaliya, and Al Athaiba Al Shamaliya, Darsait, Hamriya,   Wadi Kabir, Wadi Adai, Madinat Al-Ilam, Al Qurum, Ruwi and Al Wattaya.
